Reduce, Re-Use and Recycle
The 3 R's. To reduce waste as much as possible and not exploit our natural resources.
We are proud to offer the first all electric, zero-emission motorscooters & Bikes designed for public roads. Offering the perfect convergence of innovative design engineering and the global need for clean responsible transportation alternatives,
Ecomoto is offering consumers solutions for a healthier lifestyle, more economic mode of transportation, and cleaner environment.
Quit the Gas Addiction! Join the Electric Revolution!
In developing the scooters, they have co-operated with the major battery manufacturers in the world and with time better battery technology is expected to improve performance even further. It’s a simple task to replace the current generation of batteries with newer ones. EVT Scooters & Bikes will run on new batteries as long as they produce the same voltage output.
The principale goal is the continuous development and modification of the product. Through its strong relations with lithium battery manufacturers, future scooters will be lighter, more powerful and require battery charging only once every 2-3 days. Currently there are more than 20 people dedicated solely to research and development.
The very best electric bikes and scooters in the world today.
The battery's life cycle when properly maintained is rated by the battery manufacturer to be between 350 to 500 full charging cycles. Under normal use, it should last up to 2 years. The life of the battery is reduced or damaged if an insufficient charge level is retained for a long period of time. It is critical that the battery should not be allowed to reach below the 10% level. Ideally it should be top up after every use.
The scooters weigh approximately 128kg and have a maximum speed of 50km/hr with a driving range of 65-80 km per battery charge, depending on speed, rider weight, tyre pressure and road conditions. Considering that most people live within a few kilometers of their work, this provides ample range for anyone wishing to reduce their environmental footprint.
It takes about one hour to reach 70% full charge, and about three hours to reach 90% full charge. The EVT motorscooter does not need to be fully charged before use, however it is suggested that it should be given a longer charge periodically of between 8-10 hours.
